Renewed focus on Bio-Ingredients

INDIANAPOLIS, USA– February 19, 2008 – Sensient Flavors announces a new organization structure created to enhance its focus on the specific needs of its customers in three distinct markets – Flavors, Dairy and Bio-Ingredients. Each business unit will be managed independently.

The Bio-Ingredients business has operations in North America and Europe and is a leading global supplier of specialty ingredients in four specific markets:

Food: meeting the needs of flavor contribution and enhancement by food processors

Fermentation: providing complex nitrogen sources for culture production, commercial fermentation, diagnostic media and cell-culture applications

Animal Food: offering nutritional and palatability enhancements for food intended for pets, animals and aquaculture

Nutritional Supplements: supplying yeast supplements available in many forms and convenient packaging formats

Sensient Bio-Ingredients portfolio includes a complete range of yeast products, hydrolyzed vegetable proteins and dairy hydrolysates. It is also the co-developer and exclusive marketer of dairy peptones made by Tatua Dairy Cooperative in New Zealand.
