Excellent rating for Harbor Beach by AIB International

INDIANAPOLIS, USA – January 8, 2008 – The Sensient facility in Harbor Beach, Michigan, that makes hydrolyzed vegetable proteins (HVP) had its annual Food Safety Audit by AIB International. Based on their observations, AIB rated the overall food safety level of this facility to be: EXCELLENT.

This rating was based on the criteria set forth in AIB Consolidated Standards for Food Safety that include the following:

  • Adequacy of Food Safety Program
  • Maintenance for Food Safety
  • Operational Methods and Personnel Practices
  • Cleaning Practices
  • Pest Control
