Sustainability Efforts shown by reducing natural gas consumption

STRASBOURG, FRANCE – June 1^st 2008 – The Sensient facility in Strasbourg, France has finalized the capital investments necessary for installation of energy recovery equipment in its dryer. The project is expected to provide an 18% reduction in natural gas consumption in the drying process.

Sensient has made consistent efforts to ensure that the environmental sustainability is integrated into our manufacturing process. Efforts on environmental sustainability started primarily because of future expectations of higher energy demands and increasingly stringent regulations.
